A Random Backstory Nobody Asked For:

When I was in about fourth grade, I believe, I had a large art sketch book which I carried with me everywhere. Attached at the hip, me and my sketch book would consult with my friends. I played the designer, while they played the client. I designed everything from future prom dresses to Halloween costumes. I was the Coco Chanel of fourth grade (minus the little black dress). It was a task I took on with so much serious concentration that I could barely pay attention to the fractions and multiplication the school curriculum required. Hell or Highwater I was determined to create masterpieces. However, my teachers did not have the same vison as I.

In High School, I was able to take this hobby and expand on my fashion experience through a variety of elective classes. I took three fashion design classes, throughout my high school career, which really shaped how I thought about the world of fashion. With my amazing instructors guiding the way, I soon realized that the fashion community was huge. I learned that it really takes an army for the fashion industry to function. From textile designers to retail managers, there is really so much room for creativity in the industry. I began diving into all these careers in my school projects. It was wonderful having the opportunity to dip my toes into all aspects of fashion.

Till this day, I continue to stay passionate about fashion. I love helping style my friends, dressing mannequins at work, and predicting future trends! I take pride in working in a creative environment where I can be innovative and helpful to others. My hope is to inspire people to enjoy fashion, and be creative in their everyday life. I wish to share a fun point of view on clothing, makeup, skincare, food, and travel!
